Abdul Adam is a refugee from Sudan. He has volunteered at the Egypt Centre based in Swansea University for the past 9 months.

As a gallery assistant Abdul looks after the gallery making sure all the objects are clean and safe. He welcome visitors and explains to them about the objects and their meanings.

Abdul enjoys working at the Egypt centre every Tuesday and particularly enjoys the similarities with objects from his own country’s history such as the beads and the pottery.
