Mabinty Carew is a Refugee from Sierra Leone. She has been volunteering in a range of organisations across Swansea since 2009.

Mabinty is pictured here doing a presentation at an Oxfam Cymru conference.

Mabinty has also volunteered in a collaborative capacity with a range of organisations including EYST, National Waterfront Museum, Swansea Council for Voluntary Services, Pentrehafod School and African Community Centre.

When asked what Mabinty enjoys about volunteering she has said the opportunity to give something back to the Swansea community that has welcomed her and to increase her employment opportunities for the future.
