There’s plenty of different ways you can get involved with us!
If you belong to an organisation, see if it is already pledged to us, and if it’s not, get in touch to find out more.
If your organisation is pledged, why not get in touch with our partners Displaced People in Action to invite the Sanctuary Speakers to deliver an awareness-raising session to your staff, trustees or volunteers (currently available through the Asylum Rights Programme).
Don’t worry if you’re not part of an organisation, you can still get involved.
Why not check out our volunteer opportunities. All our volunteers are offered induction training, regular supervisions and support, travel expenses and references after you have completed 30 hours of volunteering.
‘A Better Welcome to Swansea’ Project has a variety of opportunities for Volunteer Mentors and Interpreters. To find out more please click here. Volunteering with us
If you have a spare room, you may be interested in the Share Tawe voluntary hosting scheme. This scheme consists of hosts allowing a destitute asylum seeker, to stay in their spare room for a prearranged amount of time (a small amount of financial support can be provided for hosts). If you would like to find out more, please get in touch.
Other ways you can get involved are listed here.
