The forum is an opportunity for people seeking sanctuary to meet with others, to highlight issues of importance and to begin engaging with service providers or campaigning for change.

The topic is OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOLUNTEERING and our guest speaker will be Julia Manser from SCVS.  The importance of volunteering for asylum seekers has been highlighted by the recent local campaign about detention.

Bus fares can be reimbursed, subject to the individual arriving by 10.45am and having a valid bus ticket.

If you are planning to bring children and require childcare, please let us know at [email protected] by 14th February so that we can arrange child minders

All people seeking sanctuary are welcome to attend so please encourage those you support to come along.

Please note that this meeting is being arranged by Swansea City of Sanctuary whilst DPIA is recruiting a replacement for Leila who moved on from her job in January.
