10.30am – 1.45pm Wednesday 24th January 2018
Imagine having to grab your family and run, leaving everything you know and love behind to try to find a safe place and the chance of a new life. This is the plight of 65.6 million people worldwide who have been forcibly displaced from their homes as a result of persecution, conflict, violence or human rights violations. By the time you finish reading this diary marker 20 more people would have been forced to flee – 20 people just like you or me.
We will be in the Senedd from 10:30am-1:45pm with a programme full of discussion and debate. Full details will be provided in due course. Please let us know if you are able to join us.
