In celebration of Refugee Week 2024, our wonderful Schools of Sanctuary team organised a competition across schools in Swansea to explore this year’s theme, ‘Our Home’ – students were asked to make either a poster of welcome that can be shared within your community, or a digital fact file about famous refugees and their contributions to life in the UK.

Our panel were amazed by the incredible entries, but after much deliberation, we are delighted to highlight the three winners…

🏆 1st Place – Student from St Joseph’s Cathedral Primary School

🥉 3rd Place – Student from Pentrehafod Comprehensive School
