The Far Right are threatening to descend on Swansea on Saturday November 23rd. We, together with Stand Up to Racism and many other local organisations, are calling on all those who oppose the far right and value our vibrant, diverse, multicultural Swansea to join together to show that they don’t represent us, or the city we want to live in.

Swansea City of Sanctuary stands to build a culture of welcome and solidarity in our city and across the nation, especially for those seeking sanctuary from war and persecution. The Nation of Sanctuary agenda must continue, sanctuary seekers are human beings who deserve respect and protection. We all have a right and duty to safeguard each other and express solidarity. Let us focus on making our communities safe for everyone by building strong bonds of love to chase out breeders of hatred.
